Parshavnath Ji

A disciple of Swami Ramanand, Swaminarayan was born as Ghanshyam Pande. He was initiated into ‘Uddhav Sampradaya’ by his Guru and was later handed over its leadership. Since he taught the Swaminarayan Mantra, the ‘Uddhav Sampradaya’ came to be known as ‘Swaminarayan Sampradaya’. He is known to inculcate the principle of ‘ahimsa’ amongst the followers.
