Krishna appeared as a seven-year-old child at Nathdwara. Followers of Pushti Marg and Bhakti Yoga worship this form as Srinathji. The legend says that the deity’s arm and face emerged from Govardhan hill and Shrinathji appeared to Sri Vallabhacharya and asked him to proceed to Govardhan hill and begin worship.
